Community Development Block Grant
During the next fiscal year, the City anticipates receiving an estimated $294,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. DeSoto residents are asked to complete a short survey in order to ensure that the City's investment of federal funding is guided by community input. The results of this survey will help inform decisions about the City’s investment of CDBG dollars. - CDBG funds must primarily benefit areas of the City with concentrations of at least 51% low- to moderate-income households (residential areas)
- These funds can be used for some public services (for low- to moderate-income residents only)
