Jeremy Leonard Bio
Jeremy Leonard has been employed with the City of Desoto as the Manager of Court Services since October of 2013. Jeremy grew up in the Dallas Fort Worth area and is a graduate of Alvarado High School in Alvarado, Texas. After high school, Jeremy went to Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO for two years and then transferred to Arlington Baptist College in Arlington, TX where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Church Music.
After college, Jeremy had the privilege of beginning work as a Deputy Court Clerk for the City of Venus where he fell in love with the Municipal Court system. After gaining valuable experience and training, he went on to work for the municipal courts in Burleson, Fort Worth and DeSoto. In total, Jeremy has had 16 years of experience working in various sized Texas Municipal Courts. In 2014, Jeremy was awarded with the Distinguished Service Award from his peers in the Texas Court Clerks Association for his work with the organizations website and in 2017 Jeremy received his level III Certified Municipal Court Clerk certification.
Jeremy’s hobbies are spending time with beautiful wife and watching his three kids compete in cross country, track, basketball, and cheerleading.
