Teens earn community service hours for participating.

Medical Emergencies Involving Minors
In the event that a parent or legal guardian cannot be reached in a medical emergency, the DeSoto Public Library is authorized to arrange for emergency medical treatment, the cost of which will be the sole responsibility of the parent or legal guardian.

The Volunteer Coordinator will select applications.
Selected volunteers must abide by the Teen 2022/2023 School Year Volunteer Program attendance policy, dress code and expected work conduct, and submit a background check. Arrangements for the final work schedule will be made by the Teen Volunteer Coordinator.
There are only a limited number of volunteer hours and positions available! Therefore, all teens that apply are not guaranteed placement in the program.
