Do I receive the money directly?: No, grant funds will go directly to your landlord/utilities provider and/or daycare provider to pay for your bills.

1. What happens after I pre-apply?: NDC will contact applicants from the randomized selection process on or after September 25th. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full application. Applicants who are not selected will be placed on a waiting list.

2. Do I receive the money directly?: No, grant funds will go directly to your landlord/utilities provider and/or daycare provider to pay for your bills.

3. What are qualifying utilities?: You can get assistance for gas, electric, internet, and one phone line per household.

4. Will I have to pay the money back?: No, the program is a grant and you will not have to pay back the assistance.

5. Who do I need to include in my household?: Include all adults and children living at your address for household size. Include income for anyone over the age of 18 living at your address.

6. What is the deadline to submit a full application?: You will have a deadline provided in your initial email when you are invited to submit your full application.
