Nearly two months of drought conditions, daily high temperatures of 100 ° Fahrenheit or higher, and continuous use of water for fire suppression have increased water usage in DeSoto. In order to ensure safety and maintain  restrictions under the City’s Drought Contingency Plan to ensure safety and ongoing water service the City of DeSoto has implemented water usage restrictions for our businesses and residents.
