Discover a local author on Monday, November 14 (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM) at the DeSoto Public Library! Zettie Williams is a first-time author after writing the book "Fights of the African Americans."

"I want to inspire and encourage all people to remove the fear from their hearts and minds as well and to follow their drems, especially people of color. I want to empower them to think of themselves as kings and queens and know that they can do anything they put their minds to with hard work and dedication."
