Women's Safety
In today's society, many women find themselves in environments or situations where some individuals don't think twice about making physical or verbal advances toward them. Through the DeSoto Police Department, personal safety training is available. All women are encouraged to attend this class and develop a "prevention and survival" mindset through classroom, role playing and escape tactics training.  Young women preparing to go away to college are encouraged to attend this class.
