Kids' Fishin' Day at Briarwood Park
Kids' Fishin' Day Information 

• When: April 20, 2013   9am - noon
• Where: Briarwood Park (1625 W. Belt Line Road)
• $5.00 REGISTRATION FEE.
• Register in the Parks & Leisure Services Dept. at City Hall or on the day of the event.

Come out to the fishin’ hole at Briarwood Park for the city’s annual Kids' Fishin’ Day. Briarwood Pond, will be generously stocked with fish to increase the odds of a memorable fishing experience. All kids under 14 are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult.
You should bring your own fishing gear. No fishing license is required. If you don’t have your own equipment, there will be a very limited amount of rods, reels and bait available.
Volunteers will be on hand to assist you and your child in catching the fish.
Prizes will be awarded by age category for the largest fish caught.

Applications will be available at the City of DeSoto, Parks & Leisure Services Department located in the DeSoto Civic Center beginning April 1, 2013. You can also register at the event.
