Avondale Pride Avondale is a beautiful community made up of 113 lots. This subdivision is located directly off of Pleasant Run Road and Abbott. It is close to convenient shopping and easy access to the interstate. The Avondale association is mandatory and was originally formed in 2003. This association is a non-profit corporation that exists to help preserve property values through architectural controls, design guidelines and deed restrictions. Additionally, the association provides for the maintenance of common areas and community facilities through the collection of assessments. The annual dues are $180 a year. Avondale is an active association participating in National Night Out. The association has also been a recipient of DeSoto’s Neighborhood Matching Grant funds which helped revitalize the entryway. The City of DeSoto will host their annual HOA Involvement Workshop February 25, 2012.
