DeSoto Police Agressively looking for Impaired Drivers

During the holidays, DeSoto Police will be deploying additional officers to aggressively locate impaired drivers. From 12-19 through 1-2, specified patrol units will be deployed throughout the City and along I-35 looking for impaired drivers.

Holiday Trash Collection Schedule

There will be no trash collection on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Regular Thursday trash service will move to Friday and Friday trash will be collected on Saturday for both weeks. The normal trash schedule will resume on Monday, January 5, 2015.

Notice of Deadline to File Applications for a Place on the Ballot

The City of DeSoto will hold a General Election on Saturday, May 9, 2015. The first day to file an application for a place on the ballot is January 28, 2015. The last day to file is February 27, 2015.
