Throughout our city's history, volunteers have donated countless hours to improve the quality of life in DeSoto.

The success of any community is built on the efforts of individuals, businesses and organizations that are committed to serving their community with the desire to make it a better place to live, work and play. That's why the DeSoto Community Recognition Program was created, to recognize those amazing individuals who strive to make a difference in our community.

Residents are encouraged to nominate deserving individuals for consideration for this award. Each nomination will be given the utmost consideration. When a nominee is selected for the award, the nominator will be notified by the City Secretary's Office.
