Designed for ages 12-15, it helps build a foundation of knowledge, attitudes and skills for future lifeguards. The Volunteer Junior Life guarding course is a key component of the life guarding program. It creates a life guarding feeder program to help aquatics supervisors recruit the most promising life guarding candidates for future employment.

What you Will Learn
Participants will be provided with general information in the areas of first-aid, CPR, pool safety and rescue techniques.
Step by step skill development to keep safety first in all activities presented.
Participants will develop teamwork, friendship, camaraderie, as well as self-respect within the boundaries of good, clean fun.
Participants will be physically active.
