2014 Notice of Tax Rate

A tax rate of $0.757400 per $100 valuation has been proposed for adoption by the City of DeSoto. This rate exceeds the lower of the effective or rollback tax rate, and state law requires that public hearings be held before adopting the proposed tax rate.

No trash pickup on Labor Day

Monday holidays, such as Labor Day, affect trash collection all week. In a week when a Monday holiday occurs, trash will not be collected on that Monday, and the entire week's pickup schedule moves forward one day.
