Kerri Brown the Education and Program Manager of the International Museum of Cultures will present museum artifacts including drums, currency and art from West Africa. There will also be a discussion of West African heritage and how it has contributed to African-American culture and American history as a whole. Ms. Brown is a graduate student in anthropology at Southern Methodist University and researches Afro-Brazilian healing Knowledge.
