Pet of the Week

POW TaterDon't hesitate! Come on down and meet Tater! This energetic and sweet boy is a three-year-old pit bull type dog. Until he arrived at the shelter, poor Tater spent his entire life attached to a chain, unable to interact or play with the other dogs he lived with. But boy-oh-boy, has he learned to shine at the shelter! He did well learning to walk on a loose leash, has learned to sit on command, he keeps his kennel clean, and he did great on his SAFER test, which included testing him with other pets and he appeared to do well. He also seems to get along with children, but it is recommended he only live with older kiddos who are big enough to play and romp with him without toppling over.

As pet of the week, this sweet boy is available for an adoption fee on only $25!

Pet adoptions are normally $75 and include vaccinations (including rabies), de-worming, heartworm test (for dogs), microchip with registration, a collar with tag, cardboard cat carrier (for cats), and an offer for a 30-day gift of free pet health insurance.
