Thank you parents for all the extra love and attention you put into your child’s growth and development! With the Toddler Time story hours postponed until a safer date, the DeSoto Public Library is proud to offer this series of Parent Teaching Tips. These focus on how to read with our youngest learners. Cinco de Mayo The DeSoto Public Library celebrates Cinco De Mayo, also known as the Battle of Puebla, with crafts and activities for children honoring Mexican American Heritage in the United States. Below is a fun craft video for making maracas, as well as links to educational videos, history lessons, and detailed lesson plans, perfect for parents looking to enhance their homeschooling experiences with a little cultural diversity fun!
