Participants will learn how to collect and utilize rainwater at home and have the opportunity to construct their very own rain barrel. This class is hands on "DIY" and each participant will take home a barrel. There will be a fee to cover the cost of the barrel and plumbing parts. The fee is still to be determined based on the discounts we are able to obtain.

Registration will be held by the City of Desoto. Please email scarmichael@desototexas.gov. Deadline to register is Friday, April 21, 2017. We will have a maximum of 25 barrels available however, you may bring someone with you to help you with the project. One barrel per family. As of 2/23/17 there are 20 people registered for this class out of a maximum of 25.
