Tax Information

School districts and cities all over the country are searching for ways to cut costs while maintaining service for our customers and DeSoto is no exception. As a cost saving measure, the DeSoto Independent School District made the decision to move their tax collection to the Dallas County Tax Office in 2012. Since the overhead for the local office was shared by both entities, the DeSoto City Council has also decided to utilize Dallas County’s Tax Office.
