Avondale Homeowners’ Association is a beautiful community located in Desoto with a total of 113 homes. We are conveniently located minutes from the heart of Dallas, TX and surrounding suburbs. Main roadways that run through and around Desoto are Highway 67, Interstate 20 and Interstate 35E.
The Avondale association is mandatory and was originally formed in 2003. This association is a non-profit corporation that exists to help preserve property values through architectural controls, design guidelines and deed restrictions. Additionally, the association provides for the maintenance of common areas and community facilities through the collection of assessments. Avondale’s primary goal is to maintain and/or increase the aesthetic beauty of the property value within our community. The association has an architectural control committee to insure compliance with the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CCRs).
Avondale abuts a wooded area that gives you the feel of being in rural America despite having that city feel with everything five minutes away from Home Depot to Walmart, from fast food restaurants to fine dining and recreational outlets.Avondale is an active association participating in National Night Out. The association has also been a recipient of DeSoto’s Neighborhood Matching Grant funds which helped revitalize the entryway.
